ENZED TRADE launched its operations in 1983 under the name Synergic Systems Integrated with the vision of establishing a position of leadership within the rapidly growing Philippine food ingredients industry.
In 1984, the Company became a growing force in marketing imported meat and meat byproducts. In the same year, the Company secured an exclusive agency agreement with the biggest meat company in New Zealand called Waitaki International Marketing Ltd.
It was also on this occasion that the company adopted the new name, ENZED MEAT TRADE, upon the recommendation of its principal, Waitaki International, in order to align itself closer to the main traded product – New Zealand Frozen Manufacturing-Grade Meat.
In January 1988, the Company’s name was finally changed to ENZED TRADE considering its diversified products with the opening of more opportunities outside of New Zealand. Australia, Europe, North America, South America and India became competitive sources for raw materials.
The expanded lines of products to-date necessitated the creation of two main Divisions:
The FOOD DIVISION carries manufacturing-grade meat and meat by-products, meat processing supplies, ingredients such as Textured Vegetable Proteins, etc., for the growing demand of the food industry. To date, the Food Division is active in seeking and is open to suppliers of other allied products for the Food Industry.
The SCIENCE DIVISION was created in 1999 when the Company was appointed by Millipore, a life science organization, to be its Authorized Representative and Distributor of its Products for the research and scientific laboratories of the Pharmaceutical, Hospital, Medical, Food and Beverage, Electronics, Agricultural, Educational, Government and other related industries and institutions in the Philippines.
Since then, the Science Division has expanded their product lines to various applications and is constantly on the lookout for new technologies, products and services that will complement its existing lines or industry-related products.
In June 2012, ENZED TRADE incorporated, changing its name to ENZED TRADE INC.
It was also in 2012 when the Company started to carry one of its most significant products, the VEOLIA ELGA WATER SYSTEM that produces ultrapure water for laboratory use. Beyond selling the hardware and consumables, the Company broadened and boosted its clients’ trust and confidence in the Company’s After Sales Support through the creation of a highly-trained and dedicated Service Team that responds to clients’ call 24/7. The Science Service Sub-division was organized for the proper installation, user-training, maintenance and servicing of the various carried equipment by offering long-term service and preventive maintenance agreements. ELGA now has a wide presence in laboratories nationwide.
By late 2022, HACH appointed the Company as its authorized Channel Partner to help companies comply with the strict and rigid requirements of the national government by providing high-quality units and consumables in various industries for the monitoring of their influent and effluent streams. Through this product, both manufacturing and municipal companies can regularly and remotely monitor their water quality in compliance with DENR 2016-08 standards which include ammonia, nitrates and phosphates.
And by the 3rd quarter of 2026, the Company entered into an Agreement with IDEXX to be its authorized distributor for TECTA Automated Water Microbiology System, the first U.S. EPA-approved automated microbiology testing system, which also secured Philippine Department of Health National Reference Laboratory – DOH-NRL’s approval on method for qualification of Total Coliforms and E.coli in water.
